Description: Each student created a series of 3 different 4 inch x 5 inch drawings using pen and ink, graphite, and colored pencil. They explored and practiced different ways of adding value with these materials, in preparation for the Chicagoland 4x5 Show.

Acrylic Painting:
Description: Students learned about different acrylic techniques and applied those techniques to a formative painting of shoes. We discussed the history, meaning, and examples of art about shoes and the students chose the shoes they wanted to portray.

Tunnel Book - Perspective:
Description: Students learned about perspective, depth, and space and created a 3-D tunnel book, which consisted of foreground, middleground, adn background pages. Their work was painted in watercolor and detailed with pen and ink and/or colored pencils.
