Clinical Experience

The classroom that I was in a middle school age classroom and was composed of 5 students that all had severe Autism and 1 student with Down Syndrome.

This November, I was able to attend the Illinois Art Education Association Conference in Bloomington-Normal.
-
It was the first I was able to attend an art education conference in person and it was extremely rewarding. I attended sessions about new lessons to implement in my classroom, attended workshops, and got to help out with setting up some parts of the conference.
-
I also was elated because I was able to connect with quite a few art educators in Illinois. Some teachers gave me their contact information for future student teaching and gave me some supplies which I can use for ISU's very own, NAEA.
PAL 2
-
For the Art Education Association holiday party, I led a bleach tie dye event for the members!
-
It was super fun and it was fun exploring pattern with bleach instead of typical dye.
